Welcome to Paul Wai, P.E., who joins the Orlando Office as Senior Operations Engineer. Paul brings to the firm more than 25 years of career achievement, most of that with the Florida Department of Transportation. A graduate of Florida State University, Paul will support the firm in managing current operations in Florida and expanding our Planning, Design, Tolls, and Construction Services within our strategic growth markets.

“It’s an exciting time as we continue to look forward to vehicle technology,” Paul said. “It will be challenging to keep up with changing travel options and technology in vehicles and infrastructure. Although connected vehicles will change the way we design, build, and operate roadways. I’m really looking forward to improving safety for those traveling inside vehicles, first responders, pedestrians, and all others that share our roadways.”
“As the existing roadway infrastructure system, in the highly congested urban areas, gets built out and additional capacity is no longer an option nor effective, the challenges that we face today cannot be solved with yesterday’s solutions,” he added. “The business of Transportation must continue to shift and quickly adapt to develop more creative and innovative solutions.”
Paul completed AASHTO National Transportation Leadership Institute, FES Florida Engineering Leadership Institute, and Operations Academy – Senior Management Program.
