The Project
As Lead Designer for one of North Carolina’s largest design-build projects, RK&K and the Monroe Bypass Constructors team designed and constructed this $464M, 19.7-mile new alignment toll facility with 37 bridges and eight interchanges.
The Monroe Bypass improves mobility and capacity by providing a facility for the US 74 corridor that allows for high-speed regional travel while maintaining access to properties along existing US 74.
