RK&K was recently featured in Construction Equipment Guide for our work on the $453 million Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge project in Washington, DC, the largest public infrastructure effort in the District Department of Transportation’s (DDOT) history. The project includes reconstructing Suitland Parkway/I-295 interchange and adding four pedestrian overlooks, two piers alongside six traffic lanes, and improved accommodations for bicycles and pedestrian travel.
“I often step back and take in how significant of an achievement this will be for the District,” said Project Manager William Haynes.
We look forward to seeing this monumental project progress and provide a vital link between two Washington, DC wards!
