The Project
RKK Natural resources biologist are utilizing UAS technology to identify SAV locations by collecting high resolution imagery along the 2 mile bridge construction corridor.
This data is then assessed by utilizing a proprietary GIS-based analysis to derive SAV location polygons used for a robust ground-truthing effort.
The ground-truthing will determine species composition, distribution and percent cover.
