Project
Sites Assessed for Contamination Impact
Senior Project Geologist:
Ted Chadeayne
The Project
RK&K was the contaminated site and mitigation lead, identifying five sites for wetlands mitigation offsets associated with the development of a sports entertainment facility on the Baltimore City Inner Harbor. All five sites were assessed for historical contamination impacts under an ASTM compliant Phase I ESA format.
Following the identification of former uses including a chemical manufacturing facility, Phase II ESAs and site design modifications were presented for compliance with existing environmental covenants, to limit potential exposures and contaminated materials handling.
